Non-Medication Plans

In our non-medication program we offer an individualized diet and exercise program on the basis of patient’s weight loss goals, co morbidities and eating habits. The program entitles once a week or every other week visits and food diary. We go through the diary with patients and will try to correct the past week’s weaknesses and strengths. We then try to come up with the most practical solutions to the problems faced that week.

Although the program does not include dispensed medications but it might include prescription medications to assist with weight loss or new alternative medications to help overcome the weight problem. For example it is possible that we might switch a patient’s diabetic or anti depressive medications for another one that might help with weight loss. We have a very comparable weight loss results in our non medication program. Generally weight loss is slower in non- medication program but at the end they will reach the desired weight.
